45 acp brass
I was reloading a batch of ammunition and I noticed some of the brass was a lot easier to expand after I sized the cases so I looked at those cases and they all were IMI brass so I measured them with calipers (I know a micrometer would be better) and the IMI brass consistently measured out at 1 to 1.5 thousands thinner. Don't know if that will make a difference in accuracy but I had not noticed it before.

I use the same brand brass for 50 yd loads. For 25 yd loads I don’t mind mixing brass.

Mixed brass makes a difference. I took 5 different headstamps. After sizing/expanding , spring back was different on each.
Test showed the pressure to seat a bullet varied greatly. From 45 lbs to well over 100 lbs.
