1911 Smiths--Help
I realize with Camp Perry around the corner, 1911 smiths are busy. Our club has a new (and young) shooter who wants to slide-mount a red dot on his Springfield Range Master. Are there any smiths out there who can help our new shooter? KC Crawford told him he couldn't do it for many months. Help appreciated. PM me and I'll arrange introductions. Thanks, dipnet

As a temporary solution how about a grip mount until he can have someone drill and tap the slide.

Or just send it to Jon since he's offering, you won't find better.

Burris and EGW produce no-gunsmithing mounts that replace the rear sight on most common pistols for mounting Fast Fire, Doktor, Vortex and other sights.
