How old are these Star bullets?
I'm just curious how long ago they went out of business. I got some HBWC from another shooter a few years ago.

Possibly late nineties or early two thousands.

I don't remember exactly, but I think it was around 2005-2006 when they closed.

Thinking 2004 or 5. I can look back in my records. Used to go by their shop and buy blems. Bought a bunch of what they had left at the end. Still have some .40 and .45

They're pretty clearly past their expiration date. Probably dangerously so.
I'll tell you what - ship them to me in CA and I will safely dispose of them at no charge to you. That's just the type of guy I am - making the world safer, a few hundred grains of HazMat at a time.

You guys need am FFL for lead bullets yet Lol? You might not laugh it's probably coming. That's why H&N bullets are difficult to get, exporting even bullets from some European countries is controlled.

John, be careful, those bullets are highly illegal in CA, because there's no Prop 65 warning on them. In AZ, on the other hand, they are still legal so I can help disposing them properlyjohn bickar wrote:They're pretty clearly past their expiration date. Probably dangerously so.

Thanks everyone. I'm using new brass and being very attentive with these as I don't expect to see any more of them.
