Acme 9mm 115gr RN-NLG .356
Good Morning, I am new to reloading (only reloaded 600 rounds) and have been using Berry’s 9mm 115gr RN .356, Bullseye 4.2, CCI 500 Small Pistol Primers and a COAL of 1.163. This has work out great with the last 600 rounds I have fired through 3 different pistols, the main one being a Glock 19X. 1.5” group at 7 yards, 1 Failure to Fire (Light primer strike???), otherwise all rounds fired and cycled without any problems.
I am having a lot of problems re-stocking Berry’s bullets, so I purchased what was available:
Acme 9mm 115 RN-NLG .356
Acme does not supply load data, I have completed several Internet searches and getting a lot of conflicting info. One says keep all the load data the same, another says to decrease the COAL to 1.125.
Any help is Appreciated,
George

I'm one of the owners of Brazos Bullets. When you need more, give us a try. We have the best prices and our quality speaks for itself (National Champions use us). As for data, use the plunk test to establish the OAL. My guess is that you'd need to be around 1.09" with a cast NLG 9-115.
BTW, I've had much better luck in my 1:16 1911 with the heavy 9's. 147RN and 150 SWC are really showing promise at the long line. 9mm is infinitely more difficult to load accurately in lead than 45. So just know you're in for a bit of struggle if you're looking for 50 yard loads.

Shoot them up! We will make more. Do you plan to shoot the Austin Rifle Club match once they get opened back up? I deliver bullets there to save shipping cost.GSmithidmt1 wrote:Thank you for taking the time out with the information. I mostly shoot pistol at Cedar Ridge Range in Bulverde. Shoot the Texas Steel Challenge, USPSA and the IDPA matches. Things have slowed down a whole lot since the beginning of this virus, there will be a USPSA match this Sunday. You can sign up on Pracitscore.com if you are interested.
