Alliant BE-86
Anyone loading Alliant BE-86? I'm interested in loads for .38 Special, Zero 148 gr, LHBSW. I cannot find any load data on the Alliant website or in their latest manual.

I just saw it recently. I have yet to see any data for it yet. If you find some data, please post a link.
From a few minutes of reading, it looks like a Power Pistol or Blue Dot like powder with flash suppressant. It should be a hit with the run and gun crowd.

I've had good luck with contacting Alliant directly with reloading questions. You might give that a try.AllAces wrote:Anyone loading Alliant BE-86? I'm interested in loads for .38 Special, Zero 148 gr, LHBSW. I cannot find any load data on the Alliant website or in their latest manual.

Almost ALL Alliant non-canister powders are code named BE-**. Do not even think that it has any relationship to Bullseye.

Still haven't laid eyes on this stuff anywhere. Between three shops I haunt, we see about 4 1-lb cans of various pistol powders a month. sometimes.
