Laminate and Walnut grips
Seeking advice on cleaning methods for stipled wood grips.
I've had good results cleaning sweat/dirt/oil from stipled walnut grip surfaces. Any number of topical surfactant "soap" cleaners work fine, followed by alcohol and/or acetone to break up oils.
I've never had to do this for laminate grips/stocks. Are any cleaners known for breaking down the glue in laminates? I assume that the glue used by most mfg in modern laminates is similar to Gorilla glue.
TIA,

Re: Laminate and Walnut grips
I just use Dawn kitchen soap, water and a toothbrush, works quite well with both walnut and laminate.

It is a good idea to apply some stock oil after cleaning like the one that is used, sold and recommended by Rink -
