COAL - Cartridge OverAll Length (variation of OAL)
DEWC - Double Ended Wad Cutter (bullet shape)
DR - Distinguished Revolver (NRA match)
EIC - Excellence in Competition (CMP match)
FMJ - Full Metal Jacket (bullet type)
FP - Firing Pin
FTE - Failure to Eject
FTE - Failure to Extract
FTF - Failure to Feed
FTF - Failure to Fire
HBWC - Hollow Base Wad Cutter (bullet shape)
HPSWC - Semi Wad Cutter Hollow Point (bullet shape). See also SWCHP .
JHP - Jacketed Hollow Point (bullet shape)
JSWC - Jacketed Semi Wad Cutter (bullet shape)
LL - Long Line (50 yds)
LRN - Lead Round Nose (bullet shape)

Reeves Match - NMC fired with any center fire revolver
RF - Rapid Fire Match 10 shots fired in two strings of 5 ten seconds per string
RN - Round Nose (bullet shape)
RO - Range Officer (safety officer working at range)
RO - Springfield Range Officer (models of 1911-style pistol made by Springfield Armory)
SF - Slow Fire Match 10 shots in 10 minutes
SFC - Shooting Federation of Canada / Canadian Olympic Committee Member
SFC - Sergeant First Class
SL - Short Line (25 yds)
SWC - Semi Wad Cutter (bullet shape)
SWCHP - Semi Wad Cutter Hollow Point (bullet shape). See also HPSWC.
TF - Timed Fire Match 10 shots fired in two strings of 5 twenty seconds per string

UCPSGA - Unofficial Camp Perry Super Grand Aggregate (defunct)

Wad Gun - Pistol with sights removed and dot/scope mounted on rail or frame. Can shoot either WC, SWC, FMJ or HP ammo. The dot/scope makes it a Wad Gun. Not the ammo.

WSF - Winchester Super Field (smokeless powder)
WSL - Winchester Super Light (smokeless powder)

Reading the posts, I've found there's a few abbreviations and terms that I don't know. A list would be a great thing to have.
Respond with additions and corrections and I'll try and maintain the list above.
Maybe there's an easier way and there's an existing list I've missed somewhere.

Nope. 3.5 pound trigger can make an iron sight gun a wad gun.

RSO - Range Safety Officer. Sometimes abbreviated as RO.
BE is also used as an abbreviation for the sport this forum is about, Bullseye.

I thought a Wad Gun referred to a 45? Also, I guess i thought it meant wadcutter:?:
This would include my GSP with the .32 barrel?

A Wadgun is any pistol NOT legal to be used in CMP EIC matches. In the awl'd days that was sort of limited to 1911s. Now it's a little tougher to define.
