crimp - Crimp question Empty Crimp question

Post by lablover 1/6/2018, 7:12 pm

So at the last BE practice I tried my new mounted dot On my stock RO  4.0 gr BE 190 gr swc lead .463 crimp on a friends recomendation. That load destroyed the bull at 50ft. A salty dog gave me some of his wst loads on 200 gr lswc and also destroyed the bull. I liked the feel of the wst and it was for sure cleaner.  I’d like to load up some of the 190,s I have with the wst but was curious if I should try the same .463 crimp with the wst.  I like the BE load but a cleaner powder would be nice.

Btw the 11 pound recoil spring seemed t work fine. Was wondering if I went to 12 if it changes the feel of recoil or change function much.  With the 11 I had a few stove pipes but after some more lube no more issues

And lastly. Have I mentined how mu I’m hooked on BE shooting now. Good lord it’s fun

I still load old school. .463 works for me on my lead loads. Don't even try to spit the hook. Sounds like it is set pretty good. Laughing
