Decisions (What Grips Would You Get?)

I have a satin stainless AXI on order and don't know what grips would look better on it.  I like Ivory; however, I'm not too sure if this would look good on a stainless gun?  I also like Ebony noting that it might contrast better on the gun.  Your suggestions on what type and color of grips to place on this gun will be very much appreciated!  Note that I finally decided on the satin stainless finish for this build due to the fact that it will be my EDC gun.  I felt that there would not be any holster wear shown on stainless (leather holster).  Thanks! I i think that ivory would look the best. Whether the look would be worth the cost would be the question

medium grey G-10 composite grips would do it for me.

Thanks, the medium gray would look good on the gun and would be very durable too in the G-10.

I have checkered ebony grips and they are slicker than snail snot even with a dry hand.  My vote would be Sharkskins in black.

Thanks for the insight on the Ebony. I had no idea that they would be slick. I am going to eliminate them from the running.  I will look into the Sharkskins in black.  Just noted on the build that the Company is placing sharkskin grips on the gun.  Don't know if they're black or not.

For nicest looking and best grip with SS for EDC I go with Pachmyer.

stonercnc makes very nice and affordable g10 grips.. can choose options for cutouts and thickness as well.

This is what my ProPlus looked as it came: black sharkskin (scope not included).  However, sharkskins are too thin for me so I use Herrett D45 stocks.  But I do not use this gun as EDC.  This is my Bullseye gun.

Interesting topic. What grips would you get to make the pistol look nice? Assuming very little cost restraints (considering the pistol) I was able to research some very neat grips. I have also been thinking about that pistol. You should know that it would take very little (cost wise) to turn that into a great bullseye pistol and still give you EDC capabilities. 10mm is the perfect platform to start from. I have 3 barrels for my .40 S&W. 40, 10mm and 38 Super. It is as easy as cleaning the pistol to convert to any choice. Currently it is set up for 38 Super. Five minutes from now it could be a 10mm. I could even get a .357Sig barrel for it. I am just saying that 10mm was a great choice but you don't have to stop there. Here are the grips I liked. For looks only. Mammoth

Ahrends Ebony Combats are not slick and look great.... my favorite

So. What did you end up with? I looked at so many grips for you I just had to get myself a new set. I did mention my EDC is my Model 39. Even an old gal needs a new dress once in awhile.
