1911ultra low slidemount for Aimpoint H1 by Jerry Keefer
Has anyone made a copy of the 1911ultra low slide mount for the Aimpoint H1 that Jerry Keefer used to make?

If your talking about the one where the stock base is removed and the rail is screwed to the H1 first and then to the slide, I don't think anyone makes that.310yuma wrote:Has anyone made a copy of the 1911ultra low slide mount for the Aimpoint H1 that Jerry Keefer used to make?
KC does the integral cut which is the lowest I think I've seen an H1 mounted. Much lighter too.

That one is a frame mount, not a slide mount, very nice!.310yuma wrote:The one l saw mounted the H1 right over the ejection port and sat very low

Dave Sams is the way to go, I actually think Jerry worked on the idea with Sams. I do not know who invented it first. If you are going to do a frame mount it is expensive but it works and far less expensive than a broken frame.

I'm pretty sure Totts made one that mounted to the Bomar rib screw pattern and then had the Aimpoint screwed on from underneath.
in fact I think I have one somewhere( and I do mean somewhere)

I made a Marvel rib with integral microdot mount out of brass after being inspired by Jerry Keefer and Fred Totts. My goals were to get the dot as close to the bore line as possible and add some weight up front. Took quite a bit of measuring and time on the mill but it works great. If I were to do it again, I would change the rib to allow for extension tubes and remove more material to make it less muzzle-heavy. Not my best photography but here goes:

Yes Kodiak did / does make a slide mount with an integral mounting point for an Aimpoint Micro. I have two or three of them left in my inventory currently.
