THERE IS HOPE!!! MAYBE
This past weekend at the Rimfire Sportsman Challenge Association's World Championship I had the opportunity to speak with Julie Golob about issue with NRA support of our sport. For those of you who don't know who Julie Golob is she is a sponsored professional shooter for Smith and Wesson. She has several national titles to her name in the world of "Run and Gun Shooting". During the past election of NRA board members she was elected to the board. She is serving as the Chairman of the NRA Action commitee and also serves as the Assistant Chairman of the Precision Shooting commitee. She told me that she will be meeting with the Precision folks at NRA later this month. With that in mind I told her about what I have been reading from our members about the support we as a shooting sport are getting from NRA. We discussed the lack of communications from the staff, slowness in processing of awards, time in posting scores from matches and other topics. She did state that she was aware of many of the problems we as shooters are facing and is going to try to work in improving things. The bottom line is I feel better about Precision Shooting. We do have a shooter in our corner that understands our frustrations and wants to help.

If Ms. Golob is at the NRA headquarters on a Monday evening, she could stop by NRA Range and speak to 30 or more Bullseye shooters at our weekly shoot. I would love to talk with her, I am a fan of her promoting the shooting sports!
