Bullseye Video Empty Bullseye Video

Post by mikemyers 10/9/2018, 9:19 pm

I found this video by accident.  I was searching for camera information, and this popped up.  Maybe some of you might enjoy seeing it....
I wonder what kind of guns shooters were using back then...

That’s Wes Fleming to the left of the initial shooter. He shoots a 208s/215s.

Agree with Jack H.

Video 2:

Apparently non sanctioned, incomplete commands, and no one knows the rule book commands, etc.  The actual strings of fire are Slow Fire, Timed Fire and Rapid Fire; not Slow Fire, Rapid Fire, Rapid Fire. Ok video for some other websites, but here?  Please do not expect to see this at a sanctioned match.

But at least they are shooting, at a bullseye target, with one hand and that's a great start!  Sometimes that's all that is available.

The first is Wes Fleming cleaning a target at the Sectionals held at Norfolk County Rifle Range in VA. He's a very competitive High Master who shot last year for the Accuracy X team.

He is also a good man who along with teammate Alan Toler took care of much of the cleanup from the 2700 at the Keefer Memorial Regional while I ran the leg matches and stayed behind to help me finish with the cleanup. The Accuracy X team are all good shooters and good competitors.

From YouTube, where I found this:

"Published on Mar 11, 2013
Our local club has an evening bulls-eye competition league. I recorded (& condensed) the shoot using my GoPro Hero2 camera. I even recording my sad score for all to see! Check it out. We handicap scores, and have a couple of fun shoots as well where anyone can win."

The competition may not be the real thing, but if more clubs started doing this, as best they could, I think it would attract more people to Bullseye Shooting.  To me, that they are doing it at all is more important than that they are not doing it perfectly.
