Thanks! That gun shoots great. I’ve never tried it with wad cutters. And it wouldn’t shoot semi waddcutters worth a flip. But round nose, of all things shot really well.

Congratulations! You are having a magical year. If you want, you can borrow a service rifle. Just bring it back in 10 or 12 months when you go distinguished, lol.

when you join the AMU they will teach you. It used to be that all shooters of all disciplines had to know and understand service rifle and service pistol shooting. Even the ISU shooters. This was to fulfill their training mission.Tim:H11 wrote:mprince wrote:Congratulations! You are having a magical year. If you want, you can borrow a service rifle. Good going Jason. Did you cast your own round nose?

Yes I did cast them. I used the softer stick on wheel weights, a Lee 2-cavity mold (micro groove or tumble groove mold) and tumble lubed with Lee Liquid Allox. 3.2gr of Bullseye, Winchester Brass and CCI Primers (but I think I prefer the Winchester primers). Shoots nice.

Bravo Jason! I myself drop 100 points when shooting a wheel gun on a 900 vs a semi. Congratulations for having mastered it.
