Great season!
My shooting season has most likely come to an end. Started the year shooting 2200s, liked the long line more than the short line, and was still a bit scared of the 45.
Thank you to Clark and Cecil for running the matches in my area! I also made the trek to Canton!. Can't shoot Perry for CMP or NRA due to work, but hopefully one year it will work out.
Finished up the year with an 8pt revolver leg, an 8pt 22 leg, my first 100 in 22 rapid, and shot a PR in my last match of the year with 9 saved rounds (borrowed gun, my loads were a bit light to run it well). Just putting those 9 shots in the 8 ring would give me an Expert level score.
Best of all, my wife and I welcomed our first born to the world this morning! Proud Daddy here!
I'll get to start next year with a newly built wad gun, a family at home, and a lot of fun looking forward to having my son on the line one day...unless I take him the rifle route!

Congratulations in the new baby! And you were the winner of the .45 NMC for the match!
Thanks for participating in the matches. Don't neglect training in the off season. Looking forward to seeing your progress next year.

Re: Great season!
Thanks Cecil, I guess shooting a 95 SF will help things like that happen more often.
I'll try to stay on the training. Kiddo is going to have a say in that it seems. Guess I'll have to get some SCATT or dry firing in 20min here or there. Gotta let Mom sleep some the next few months!

Congratulations, especially the new addition to your family. Your post caused me to reflect back to my first times in bullseye. There was so much excitement and so much to learn! You are head and shoulders above my first few years in the game. Keep it fun!
