Mag advice please
Hi,
My Marvel 45 only came with one mag. I'm not sure of the maker. Can someone please ID the logo?
I'd like to order a few more. Should I stick with this brand or is there another brand that would be suitable?
Thanks,
Dave

Might find a better price else where but this is what you have.

FWIW, I like the Metalform Elite with the bumper. Very nice magazine and easy to disassemble for the occasional cleaning. Plus, it's harder to pinch my finger with the bumper ones. I hate bleeding all over the bench.

I have a couple of metalform 45 mags and can’t seem to get them apart. I’m having issues with them and thought I’d clean them or replace the springs.

My advice is buy mags with a removable bottom for easy cleaning and strength. Some will claim the welded bottom mags are just fine, I've had 2 of the welded bottoms fail over the last 3 year's and they're a pain to clean, pay the premium for the removable bottoms.

the trick to mags with a welded bottom is to push the follower down at least half way and then put a pin through one of the holes to retain the spring(not the follower) turn it upside down and the follower will most likely slide down where you can grab it with a small set of needle nose and work it out. then release the spring(carefully)
