Dave Nass Illinois Pistol Shooter Passing
I am sorry to inform you that Dave Nass, a member of the Illinois pistol team at Camp Perry since 2005, passed away this morning from complications of pancreatic cancer. He died peacefully at home this morning with his wife by his side.
I last spoke with Dave Thursday, his mind was intact until the end. He accepted that the diagnosis was final and wanted to spend as much quality time with his family as he could, including his first grandchild who was born recently.
Dave's final wish was that all the money from selling his guns and shooting gear should be donated to the Arlington International Airgun Club in Illinois which has an active junior program.
He was a good friend. He always had a smile and a laugh, no matter what was happening. He will be missed.

Family and Friends,
It is with heavy hearts that we write this message to share with you that Dave died peacefully at home on January 6th, 2019.
In this life, Dave shared his many gifts and talents with countless people from all walks of life. We feel touched knowing that his influence was so profound.
We are so very thankful for the support that we have received in these past months. It has held us up and given us strength.
Plans for a memorial service are being arranged and a message will follow here, sharing those details.
"And he will raise you up on eagle's wings, bear you on the breath of dawn, make you to shine like the sun, and hold you in the palm of his hand. And hold you, hold you in the palm of his hand."
