It's weird. I shoot almost that good in practice, but when I show up for a match I'm lucky to shoot 86% Mad

I'm hoping you get some opportunities for some sanctioned matches. Don't feel bad about your revolver scores. I put a 93 slow fire (with a 5!) with my .45 together with a 79tf and an 80 rapid in my last league night... Lame.

That slow fire target had such a big hole I could have shot the second magazine into the ground and got a 98.

I went to a match one time with some buddies. It was an informal affair. A shooter could practice and sight in all he or she wanted, and when ready to shoot for record the shooter would pay a dollar (this was some time ago). My buddy was shooting his rifle and making very small groups. When he was ready, he shot for score and his group widened up considerably. I had been really paying attention and couldn't figure out what had gone wrong. I asked him, "What happened?" His reply, "I paid my dollar!" I can't tell you how many times I've thought of that when shooting matches and sharing the inside joke with buddies.

Range yesterday...shot 3 NMC's for a total of 815/900

1- @ 50ft .22-270-1x

1- 25yds .22-272-4x

1-25yds .45- 271-8x

Not supper great but right @ 90% . Ive started to keep detailed records of my shooting . try'd a little trigger reset trick during sustain fire ..I need to work on that for sure much easyer when it works right.....

Congrats! Improvement sometimes seems hard to get, and sometimes it just happens. Setting and tracking goals is important. Keep at it!
