Anyone use Nu Finish and corn cob media?
Currently use corn cob media (Grainger sand blasting media) and Dillon case polish for quick finish polish of my lubed cases. A friend of mine recommended Nu Finish car polish instead. Works the same and is apparently cheaper, more readily available and leaves a protective coating on brass too?
Any use Nu Finish with your polishing media?

Nu Finish car polish and fine grind walnut shells that are sold as lizard bedding. Purchased 50 lb. for about $25 delivered from Cal. a few years ago. Doesn’t clog flash holes.

I ultrasonic clean the cases to get the lead and crap mostly out, then tumble with Nu-finish and walnut shells (order reptile bedding from Amazon). Nice satin finish.

Yes I use it and it works very well. A little goes a long way and last a long time.
FYI fine ground walnut shells are also available at Harbor Freight.

I use liquid Flitz. I also use it for polishing the wife's silver tea service and even plated or blued gun finishes. I use so little that the cost factor really not a factor for me. I too, use finely ground walnut shells.

I use 2/3 Corn cob, 1/3 rice, one cap full of Nu-Finish 1/2 a drier sheet cut in quarters . I change out the drier sheets about every 5-6 runs and add a little more Nu-Finish about every 10-12 runs.
Works well for me in the large Dillon tumbler

Nu finish or turtle wax works great for me. Most times the dollar store carries it

Any auto parts store carries Nu Finish. It’s car polish wax. Comes in a orange bottle.

How much finish do you add? I add a capful of mineral spirits as a crud buster. Would that work well with the nu finish?

Re: Anyone use Nu Finish and corn cob media?
I've tried many of the "CAR WAXES" and to date NuFinish is by far the best. Was told Turtle Wax was good, it's better than nothing but nothing I've seen so far beats NuFinish. I also have tried the Dillon case polish, the NuFinish had it beat hands down IMHO that isNew2BE wrote:Currently use corn cob media (Grainger sand blasting media) and Dillon case polish for quick finish polish of my lubed cases.
