Hi Standard Houston
I've been searching the internet for takedown plungers for my Victor,( the button you depress to remove the barrel) and my gunsmith wants a couple also.
I went to the website and my system won't allow me to go there. So, I tried the phone number listed and got a message it was not in service. I went back to the web and tried another number listed for the Houston site and same ol same ol. I then tried another number and at least got a phone to ring. It's 09:45 here and I would suppose if I'm in the wrong time zone, I would have got a voice mail for a message Nada.
Brownell's doesn't have them and neither does Numeric
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

Re: Hi Standard Houston
I believe High Standard Texas has declared bankruptcy and closed. Brownells stopped stocking High Standard parts quite some time back. Interarms Texas may be the only parts source still around.

Mr. Arounstein? (probably spelled that wrong) was talking about another Hi Standard operation somewhere, but don't recall if that ever happened or not, (I thihk his is part of the new Interarms group previously linked)
someone like Jack First may have parts for various models,
Re: Hi Standard Houston
I suggest PM-ing Mr. David Wilson / fc60 on this forum, - he has inventory of parts for Hi Standards. There was a tread on this forum in not so long past on the subject.

Re: Hi Standard Houston
thanks for every one's input I was just at Jack First's website and he has nothing listed for Victor model. There is no search engine so I looked at the ones he has listed early sportking, fliteking, suprematic, and Olympic, push button and lever take down models. no push button is listed or shown.
I got the last 3 interarms had listed.
And I was aware of the posting that was previously listed but never looked. No too smart
I'm not tech savy, so could someone explain how to Pm Mr Wilson
Thanks

Re: Hi Standard Houston
Dave has hisHS parts stash posted on Commercial Row. https://www.bullseyeforum.net/t11451-high-standard-parts-sale?highlight=High+Standard
If that doesn't work for you, search for "High Standard Parts Sale" and it will show up with several other threads.

one is a box with what looks like a person in it,
the one beside it (right side) is the same but has a tiny PM next to the person, click that
