This dealer lists that they are the only authorized dealer for Nosler overruns. They are listed as umblemished factory overrun. I ordered a box today.

Craig,
Thanks for the tip. I ordered two boxes. They look great, but I'm struggling to work up a low power load that will cycle my wad gun reliably.
I saw another thread today which recommends aiming for 780fps and suggests 4.2 of VN310. I am about to try that.
What load are you using? What COAL? Heavy crimp or light?

Magnus every day price for the same profile bullet is 149.30. These are basically "Zero" bullets. I interchange them with Nosler all the time. Magnus has a discount for forum members. I have noticed that the discount is about the same as free shipping. NFI

I shoot the Zeroes with 4.5 of n310. Just saying. I don't know what fps I am getting out of them, just know they are accurate on the 50 yd line.radjag wrote:Craig,

Good to know on the Magnus and Zero Bullets thanks!
My load is the Al Dorman Bullseye load -full details found at:
https://www.ssusa.org/articles/2016/4/07/usmc-match-45-load/
The load is:
4.1 grains of Vihtavuori N310 to a loaded cartridge overall length of 1.20
I'm using Starline brass I just bought this season, my 1911 has a Kart Barrel with a tight chamber and discovered last season (my first shooting it) that it only functions reliably with Starline or RP brass (circa 2002 or so), I found out other cases are thicker walled (over .105) and I had a terrible time with reliability, especially with JAG brass. I'm not shooting master scores yet with the 1911 so I'm not limiting my long line loads to new or once fired cases. I'm shooting a Springfield RO with a slide mounted Matchdot II and a 14 lb recoil spring and all is well so far with reliability if I stick to right cases.

Correction .0105!
It's .0105 Wow .105 would be thicker than a 16 Inch battleship case!
