I have a screw loose Empty I have a screw loose

No, seriously. My elevation screw on my UltraDot is loose. See this video.

I found a couple of links on the web showing UltraDot warranty service in Yankeetown, FL. Anyone know if this is still accurate? I sent them an email but it was at 9:30 PM EDT, so I don't expect to hear back until tomorrow at the earliest.

Is this a typical problem? It's new to me.

I do not believe you have a problem with your elevation screw. I think the problem is just in the reference plate, dial or whatever you want to call it. I have lost several of them off high recoil applications. It did not effect the scope function, just have to remember where you left it cranked too.

I thought I was wrong once. It turned out I was mistaken about that.

I just sent one in on Tuesday, not for the same problem. Called the phone number got a recording, left a message and a girl got back to me in around 20 minutes.
{Katie} She said, sent it in without the mounts and other accessories and the new mail back charge is $15.00. The web sight has not been updated from the $12.95.
Give her a call.

You will need to find receipt for purchase in order to get it repaired under warranty.  Email probably is the best way to communicate with Heather, - she's running her kids around a lot.

Thanks Dave, but the 1" UltraDots are too small for these old eyes .

I was able to pull a 30mm off of a backup gun. And I received a reply back from Katie indicating that the Yankeetown, FL, address is correct.

Greetings John,

Good to hear things are working out.

By the way, the guy shooting to your right says "thanks" for shooting a 98x8 slow fire.

Apparently, you were cross firing.

Cheers,

Dave

I was wondering what the story behind that score was.

Quoth my scorekeeper, "Cleanest targets I've ever seen. Clearly the work of a High Master."

I did receive timely replies from a woman named Katie. The Yankeetown, FL, address is correct, and $15 is the return shipping fee. My Ultradot is boxed up and will be on its way to Yankeetown as soon as I can get to the Post Office.
