FAS 603 .32 Cal
I am looking to add a .32 CF for Bullseye Matches
I already have a Pardini SP New for .22 and a Caspian .45
is anyone familiar with the FAS 603? .32 for CF - let me know your experiences or recommendations for this model
thank you in advance for any input!

Re: FAS 603 .32 Cal
The biggest drawback to the FAS pistols for Bullseye is that the magazine is inserted through the ejection port. (from the top) I used a 602 for a while with a dot sight mounted on the barrel ahead of the port. Didn't do much for the balance. If you're an iron sight shooter, it's hard to find a nicer handling pistol.
FAS parts are getting hard to find.

I have a 22 version, very difficult to load the magazines since there is no base to them. As noted, parts very difficult to get. Although I like it, I wouldn’t consider on the same level as many other available 32s.
I have the 32 conversions for my Pardini, both long and ACP. Really nice. If you haven’t already, you might consider the 32 ACP as well, perhaps better availability of excellent ammunition.

HSM,
Why not the Pardini HP in 32 ACP? I have one set up exactly like my SP. Grips, trigger, and dot are set as close as possible to be identical to each other. The 32 ACP will stay in the 10 ring at 50 yards with no issue with the correct load.

Benelli MP95 in .32 SWL is also terrific. Shoots like a .22.

I agree with JKRs comments. Great iron sight pistol, find something else if you use a dot. Best bet would be to buy it and find an International CF match. best course of fire out there.
I bought parts for my 602 just last fall. Direct to my door from Italy no problem.

Thanks for feedback
Love the Pardini - have an SP new - but my model won’t take the .32 conversions - I was hoping to find one at lower price point - but it seems like there are no options out there - I see some older models in gunbroker but the asking prices are unreasonable for the age of the models - almost as much money as new ones.
Hopefully I can find one!

Ah heck! Go for the FAS. Is it the one for sale on Target Talk? If it's a good one you'll have a fun little pistol that not too many others own. Maybe you'll even come up with a clever way to mount a scope. I think even a Pardini owner will love the FAS trigger.

That is what keeps me from considering it, the red dot mounted forward of the ejection / loading - will make it tip heavy

If you don’t get the FAS, a great alternative is a Walter GSP. It also is convertible to 22, is very reliable, and have been around forever. Can be found quite reasonably if one is patient. Parts and service are readily available from Earls, an authorized dealer. Just a thought.HSM wrote:Thanks for feedback

I totally agree with Greg on this. In fact I've been on the hunt for a GSP in 22.gregbenner wrote:If you don’t get the FAS, a great alternative is a Walter GSP.
