What size expander for new .32 S&W-L Lapua brass?
I have a good bit of new Lapua brass for a .32 S&W-L Walther GSP, and .314" HBWC (both H&N and swaged Speers). I have expanders that could reach as far down in the case as a HBWC will go, in various diameters, including .311", .313", .314" and .315". I will probably start with the .315" and see how it does. I have one of the .3165" and .3175" cowled Powder Transfer Units from Photo Escape, but I don't believe they expand the case to anything like the full depth of a HBWC.

The expander on the powder transfer unit I got from you some while ago is only about 3/16" long. The one in your link is just what I think I am looking for.

I was asked to design and manufacture PTUs with full projectile length expander for 32 Long HBWC and 38 Special DEWC and HBWC. I finished manufacturing these about 4-5 weeks ago, and sent test units to couple of testers. I do load latter, so I can attest PTUs work fine, although loading requires certain diligence. Since I do not load 32 Long (not 32 ACP) I rely on others, in this case it was Greg Benner, to test and post feedback. That's why I provided link to his post. Greg also provided me with sample of bullets, in particular bumped up Speer plinkers. Previous 30&32 Calibers PTUs had expanders designed for non-HBWC projectiles. I use those to load various rifle and handgun cartridges, i.e. 7.62x51 / .308, 7.62x39, 7.62x25, 300BO.
