Red dot for S&W model 41

HI ALL  .... I JUST RECENTLY PURCHASED A S&W MODEL 41 ... I'M NEW TO BULLSEYE SHOOTING AND I'M LOOKING FOR ADVICE ON WHAT RED DOT TO GO WITH ?? ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED ...  I'M NOT THAT CONCERNED WITH THE PRICE RANGE I JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE I DON'T MAKE ANY BAD PURCHASES ... THANKS SO MUCH .... PAUL

Adding a price range, if you have one, might help, as they can range from $35.00 to the $700.00 + range.

I have an Ultradot 2 on mine and like it a lot.

TruGlo TruTec is being discontinued and is a very good red dot sight. I use one on my 41. You can find them for under $140.00 if you look around.  I have a Vortex Venom on my 52 and I cannot tell the difference between them, and the Venom was more.

Do a search in this forum using "tube+type" and then read through some of the threads. Most folks, including myself, end up with tube type red-dots like Aimpoint, Ultradot, Sightron etc. Just make sure the sight you buy is parallax free at the shorter distances you will shoot. Tube sights also offer other advantages over HUD type sights that are pointed out in the above mentioned threads. My two cents.
