Get a case, measure it, and drop it in until it stops. Then measure to the back face of the hood to the rear of the cartridge. That measurement plus th3 measurement of the case is the “headspace” of the chamber. (Ish, sorta).
If your match ammo is taller than what you measured with the empty case it is headspacing on something else (bullet most likely). In any event if this round below hood is more than .010 or so. It might cause ignition issues but from what I can see in the photograph, it might be something else. Many chambers in 45 ACP are long.

Most smiths build/chamber to 0.905. Assuming zero tolerance between breechface and hood.

Check your overtravel. If hammer half cock is hitting sear it will cause erratic ignition.
