Marvel Gun Weight
Would someone who shoots a Marvel unit 1 with a 1" Ultradot please weigh the gun and give me the all up weight with an empty magazine? I have tried to calculate it from the individual component weights and I get something in the neighborhood of 40-41 ounces.
Thanks
Thanks

I weighed mine (1943 Remington lower) with 1" UD. 42 oz.

I don't have a scale that will measure in the needed range but the "empty mag" is a variable. I have GSG mags that are much heavier than the colt ace ones.

Thanks for the data. I am now shooting a Hi Standard with 5 1/2 inch Douglas barrel and a 30mm Ultradot. It weighs in at 49 oz and I am finding that is too much now at my age.

Re: Marvel Gun Weight
Doc,
I have a similiar problem. I tried my Marvel w/a Bushnell TR-25 and found it a little light. I am currently using it with a UD Match Dot. Better, but there is no solution for my worn out shoulder.
Best of luck!
