Stock 9MM RO Load Q's
I have a stock SA RO in 9MM, so far I've tried 125gr HAP over HP 38 with so so results and some plated 147 RN again over HP38 with same results. I did like the felt recoil of the 147 load over the 125's. Both loads were fairly mild. I read that the 9MM does better at higher velocity? Is this true with the stock RO barrel? Anybody have pet loads for the stock RO barrel? My attempts at using the search function here have failed miserably.
TIA for any help.

115 HAP over 5.6 gr CFE Pistol, 1.120 COL. for 25 yd. 50 yd. is a very different animal for a stock RO.

Duh, thanks James
It appears I need to find a slower powder.

James: Do you find CFEPistol particularly dirty? My combat pistol training round is a 115 plated RN behind 5.2 CFEPistol. After a 400+ round session, my pistol looks like it lives in the bottom of a coal mine. After 1000 rounds I start looking like I live in the same mine. It shoots fine, just sooty.

Re: Stock 9MM RO Load Q's
I have yet to hear of a RO-9 that shoots.
Mine looked good, slide was tight, bushing ok, shot like shit.
Leade was so long, l could load 148 hbwc in it. Maybe thats their problem?
Nothing made it happy. Rebarreled with a KKM 1:32. It shoots now

Anybody tried the Kart xact fit .38 super barrel in the 9MM RO? I have fitted 2 non ramped in .45acp with good results but never tried fitting a ramp.

Which barrel is that? Do you have a link? My 9mm RO is OK but well behind my Beretta so I hardly shoot it.

Sorry I don't recall what ramp is in it, there are two. Maybe some one else will know before I can look it up.
