Based on past experience they are about 10" too short.

I like Muck brand boots. They've got tons of different lengths.

The cheapest thing available would be plain old fashion black gum boots.  You can find them at any farm and home store.

Ankle high or higher with flat soles (stability), and suede and canvas for breathability with 2 coats of scotchgard for some degree of waterproofing.  

Danner military issue I like, water repellant treated.  I'm bringing two sets in case the first get saturated.

Farm & Fleet barn boots for about $25.00
2018 my position was dry...only ankle deep mud all week so I wore rafting sandals.

Don't forget boots for your score cards  (quart size Ziploc bags), boot for your gun box (appropriate sized trash bag), and a tarp for your vehicle to lay the wet stuff on. 

You guys make Perry sound like so much fun. 

I'm extremely disappointed that I can't go this year...besides the uncertain future.
EVERY shooter needs to shoot there at least once in their life.
The weird weather is only a small part of the over all adventure.
Too many good people to hang with to count
If I could go and not shoot it would still be worth the trip.

Just a suggestion, go with the 2 quart size. It makes it much easier to write when it's not so cramped.

It’s going to be BEAUTIFUL at Perry this year, TRUST me...

Boots s/b at least calf high when the rains come down hard.

Camp Perry is a hoot. Sorry to see the NRA is leave.
