Not been very active lately
I have not been around much lately and it's not because I am shooting too much!
Finally got to the range to function fire a Range Officer. I gotta get one of those and keep it, nice shooters for the money!
Anyway also threw 100 rounds of 22 and CF down range and I will have to say after not shooting much the past few months I was pleasantly surprised with the results.
However the lack of even dry firing found my tricep fatiguing quicker than normal! I will have to get back to some physical activity and weight training if I am going to not be shooting much.
Life just gets in the way of my hobby sometimes.
Happy Holidays to my shooting family, may you all have a safe and loving holiday with family and friends.

Re: Not been very active lately
So it goes, Joe. Today I felt the best I've felt in a week, but not enough to run our usual retiree practice. Temps hovering above freezing but gusty w/rain and snow mixed. best to keep warm for another day.

Re: Not been very active lately
Why yes it was!
Grouped well and functioned flawlessly! I used 50 230gr jacketed RN I had on hand for testing and they held the black on a 50' indoor target from my hand. YMMV.
You will want to lighten up the recoil spring and put in a heavier firing pin spring for target (Bullseye) loads. Spring weight will vary with your desired loads.
Thanks,
Joe
