Automatic login to this forum no longer working for me
First topic message reminder :
Not sure why, but I used to stay logged in here "forever". Either that, or I logged in automatically when I came back. Now, if I close the last window here, I get logged out, and need to log in again. Am I doing something wrong, or did the settings change?

Re: Automatic login to this forum no longer working for me
Yeah, the past week was a running joke of multiple daily re-logins for me as well. Ugh. These first world problems are rough. I feel you man.
Losing proper track of the “New posts since last visit” is what really gets me.
I auto login and have cleared my cookies, etc.
It settled down after a few days, now is back to normal.
This has nothing to do with us. It is the hosting service and we have no control over what they are up to why/when things get reset. Issues on their end can cause trouble downstream for us.
Generally, around the last/first of the month you can count on having to re-log in, maybe delete the forum cookies, pray, do a rain dance, and make a few voodoo dolls to get back on track.
