Info on bullseye shooting?
First topic message reminder :
I am a new member at 68. I am interested in bullseye shooting in the winter. I am from the Pittsburgh area. Is there different class for us old guys? is there a different class for using a red dot or iron sights. How far due you shoot? Any shoots in the Pittsburgh, Pa area? I just bought a new Smith and Wesson Model 41 with a top rail. I have a Vortex Venom 3 moa red dot mounted on it. Thanks

IMO, you really don't need to build the skills as much as you need to enjoy the process of building.
Very good point. One of my favorite high power rifle shooters says his biggest goal is to have no goals. To shoot for the love of shooting, the camaraderie, and a day out in the sun.
This is a very challenging game. Get out, shoot, meet some people, grab lunch after the match. If you put up respectable scores eventually, even better.

I have always been more interested in competing against myself rather than others, so as long as I improve as I go I will be happy.
