Which coated 45 bullet for 50 ft indoor loads?
Looking for recommendations on which coated 45 bullets are good for indoor use. As a new guy, I want to keep recoil manageable, so looking at the lighter weight bullets 160-185 probably. Want to try coated since our ventilation isn't the best and during rapid fire it looks like a civil war re-enactment. Kimber 1911, irons, with Clays, if that's germane to the conversation. Thanks in advance!

Brazo’s Bullets have given winning performances with their coated bullets.

I would try Brazos Hi Tek coated 160 gr. SWC over 4.0 WST. 4.0 Clays would work, but WST is a bit cleaner. May have to go with a lighter recoil spring to ensure function.

I’m on the Brazos website. They show a 155 and a 160. What’s the difference?

5 grains..
The 160 is similar to the H&G S242...
The 155 I was generated for some IPSC deal?

Well to be honest, I've never shot the 155's. The 160's are awesome though. We don't sell many 155's since we worked out the kinks in sizing the 160's.markgrabowski wrote:I’m on the Brazos website. They show a 155 and a 160. What’s the difference?

I shot a 100-6x timed with the 160 coated Brazos bullets yesterday with 4.6 WST. I like em.

Good job Zane! I too had a good day with them. Averaged 97 at the short line CF and 45. The recoil impulse is so nice. Makes it so easy to get back on target.
