Anyone Home At the NRA?
First topic message reminder :
So we have hosted an Indoor Sectional Championship match at our club York & Adams Game & Fish in Abbottstown PA for as long as I can remember. Last year we got zero support from the NRA and used leftover and homemade copies of the registration forms. no pins, medals nothing. According to the NRA (when they used to talk to us) it was the largest sectional in the US usually around 120+ shooters. Of course they happily took our money. We're trying to get set up for the 2020 match and again all we get from the NRA is crickets. If this hasn't become the most dysfunctional organization I don't know what is. Is anyone else in the same boat?

I found myself in the odd position of having an NRA dashboard without knowing my competitor number. Thing is you can sign up for one and not link your number (I hadn't competed yet so did not have one). But, once you have one there is no way to link the dashboard to it.
...
This is my problem. I have a dashboard and a competitor ID, but the two aren't linked so I can't see my "activity" at all. Were you able to get it fixed? I had a response when I reported it, but crickets to my followups over the past few months.

From what I've seen in the media, it seems that the organisation structure basically comprises a few people at the top who have control of the money (which has mostly now disappeared) and the rest of the team who are probably very disillusioned. Sadly.

I know I'm just one person and won't change the world with my single vote. I voted with my wallet this year. I may be biting the hand that feeds us but this year I had enough. This is a picture of my un-opened letter from the NRA requesting money. Probably about the 5th so far this year. I'm pretty sure I don't need them anymore. They appear to be thinking the same thing.

Understand the feeling Len. When the dirty laundry got aired earlier this year about Wayne's... habits... well, I was done, too. Been a life member since the 80's... but I took the NRA out of my will, and don't regret it one bit.

Any requests that I get by mail now, I Just write " Get my share from La Pierre" and send it back. Even better if it comes with a postage paid envelope! Same reply goes back as a reply to any E-mails.

Everyone at the NRA must be asleep, or something. My Competitor Activity and Classification has not been updated for 6 months now. I believe I have 6 matches that have not been listed, maybe more.
