need hi-standard adjustable sights
I was poking around online and found a hi-standard sport king at a local pawn shop for a remarkably low price. Stopped by today to look at it. Only problem is that it does not have adjustable sights, I have some pictures below. I bought it anyways just so no one else would snatch it up and now I'm not sure what to do with it.
It seems like pushing out the rear sight and replacing it with a 1911 adjustable would also mean I'd have to replace the front sight since the current one would be too low. It came with only one magazine so I'll have to pick another one up but I'm really not trying to make this a whole project, dont really have the time to mess with it too much.
Any ideas on resolving this sight issue?

Slides are rattley loose on the Sport King. Having sight on slide will not have repeatable accuracy. But yes you could probably adapt Bomar.

So probably not really worth the investment then? I already have a dedicated 22 pistol. Might just keep it as is, throw it in the safe and use it to barter when the apocalypse happens.

Why not put a reflex dot on it?

I have never seen any accuracy difference between either sight on my Sport King. This sight on slide setup with 10X barrel shoots great. As does the alternate sight/barrel. I prefer shooting the open sight.
