Slow fire timer.
Just a heads up. Today I found, at the grocery dept. of WalMart, a digital timer for 88 cents. Battery included. Counts both up or down. Should work great for those folks that keep time of a slowfire string. I'm going to start keeping time, that is if I remember to turn the darn thing on. Anyhow, for 88 cents, you can't beat the price. Probably cheaper to throw the thing away and buy another than it would be to replace the battery when it goes dead.

If you have a smart phone, you can download a Bullseye App for free. Covers SF, TF, & RF. Gives you a visual countdown, and a horn signal at start/end. I practice with it at the indoor range, I just use ear buds under my muffs so I don't bother other shooters. Great tool for Bullseye, and did I say....it's FREE!

I think Mike is using it for a actual match. That’s how I use mine. Use the app for practice

88 cents!
I don't like having my phone on the bench during matches because it's 800 dollars and I'm clumsy and don't want to drop something heavy on the screen.

I use an inexpensive timer (but not as cheap as 88 cents!) in matches for SF. It has a magnetic base so I can leave on bench or put on box. I opened it up and cut the wires to the speaker to insure no noise.

I use an ACCUSPLIT stopwatch from my swim team work in a past life
I timed the RF targets one time at a respected range. 12 seconds.

Sounds identical to what I've done.joy2shoot wrote:I use an inexpensive timer (but not as cheap as 88 cents!) in matches for SF. It has a magnetic base so I can leave on bench or put on box. I opened it up and cut the wires to the speaker to insure no noise.
