CZ 9mm for EIC Service Pistol
I've read the recent posts about CZ's
https://www.bullseyeforum.net/t12470-anyone-shoot-a-cz-shadow-2-or-acccurized-cz-75?highlight=CZ+Accu+shadow+2
https://www.bullseyeforum.net/t13281-cz-75-sp-01-shadow-target-ii-anyone-shoot-one
And am particularly impressed by the groups achieved by Wayne with a CZ P-09
https://www.bullseyeforum.net/t11883-cz-p-09-ransom-rest-results
I started looking on my favourite Candy Store and am interested in the CZ Accu Shadow 2. It comes with the 1911 style bushing and has a lot of interesting features. Most of the new guns on GB are offered in the ~$2k range, but one discount vendor has them for ~$1,300 - seems like a decent deal if little/none further custom work required.

BUT, with all of the recent CMP rule changes/adjustments, does anyone know whether any of these interesting CZ's can be legally used for CMP EIC Service Pistol competition?

From https://thecmp.org/wp-content/uploads/2020PistolRules_Draft.pdf , Rule 4.1.4
CZ:
P09, 9mm only.
NOTE: Rules 4.1.1 and 4.1.2 also apply.
If in doubt - email CMP.

Re: CZ 9mm for EIC Service Pistol
Thanks Asa Yam, your link got me looking in the right place and I then went to the CMP list which was updated in March 2019:-
http://thecmp.org/wp-content/uploads/CMPApprovedServicePistols.pdf?ver=030119
The following CZ pistols are specifically mentioned:-
CZ 75 Series 9mm
CZ 85 Series 9mm
CZ PO9 9mm
CZ 97 B and D .45ACP
CZ P-10 C 9mm
So, AFAIK, the Accu Shadow 2 is a direct derivation of the CZ 75?
I guess that I would have to refer it to the CMP Rules Committee to be sure.

Re: CZ 9mm for EIC Service Pistol
Also that Accu Shadow 2 still has 9 days left, guaranteed to go higher. I just picked up a original Accu Shadow used for $1350 which I thought was a decent deal. Can't help with the EIC question.

Zane, well spotted, I didn't notice the status of the GB auction. Anyhow, I've sent an email to Kathy/Nancy at the CMP and will not make any moves till I hear back from them.
Cheers.

Re: CZ 9mm for EIC Service Pistol
In the 2020 rules they have added the Beretta 92X in 9mm, Sig P320 X-5 Legion; not designed for service use, but both for their shooting teams.
The current CMP rules state: CZ75 "series" in 9mm. Rule 4.1.1 (a) the key word is "derived from" and (b) "listed."
Logic says - go to the SIG CZ75 products page, punch in 75 series - compact or full size , and anything on those pages is legal as long as there are no external modifications like an external bushing. An external bushing on a Beretta 92 is not allowed, so I don't think you could get away with one on a CZ75.
The single action CZ75's may be allowed along with the flat triggers, because the P320X series pistols have flat triggers compared to the other P320 series pistols.
I shot a SIG 210A target the other day and easily cleaned the T&R targets. If I were trying to get Distinguished now that's what I would use.
The hard part on these newer pistols is to get them to 4lb trigger pull.
