My hands aren't that big so I typically don't like double stacks but the CZ 75 has such good ergonomics it still fits my hand great. The Beretta 92FS on the other hand felt like holding a 2x4", didn't last long in my collection.

The Beretta 92
I don't like the way the Beretta 92 looks, but I like the way it shoots for me. Wilson Combat and Langdon Tactical have both been doing a lot of work on making them more shootable, especially that first double action shot. People troubled by the first shot should look into Langdon's "Trigger Job In A Bag." His full trigger jobs are only a little bit better.
I have been trying to learn to shoot the 1911 better, and so far it is just not working.

If your troubled by the first shot don't put the safety on. Safeties are required. You don't have to and don't want to use them.NuJudge wrote:I don't like the way the Beretta 92 looks, but I like the way it shoots for me. AP, if you own all those Sigs I feel sorry for your bank account or maybe jealous of it lol.

That's old picture, Zane. Some of them have siblings now
. Yes, I own them, and, like Len's, all pictured have trips to the range. And it is in essence a "bank account" (diversification, ya know!), although I probably not the one who will cash out this account. In 9mm world and out of the box HK P9s Sport Group III is in par with SIGs and 952s. In double stock I have CZ75b that was modified at Rob Bagnato's shop (CZ Custom) and one of their complete guns - CZ-75 CTS LS - great shooters. Latest SIG X320 X5 Legion and Walther Q5 SF Match are great out of the box guns too.

Nice collection. Parking your cash in pistols sure is more fun then a mutual fund.

Sig P210 Target is super nice out of the box. Great trigger and feels great in the hand.

Favorite centerfire other than a 1911? Make mine a Glock... Not for punching paper though. For punching paper make mine a 1911.

James, very nice Pardini you have there. I've got a 22/32 GSP combo, haven't shot it much and find it nose heavy but I'm hoping to get some trigger time with it this winter for indoor matches.

NONE, I'VE TRIED THE .32 YEARS AGO WITH A HAMMERLI 280. BOUGHT A 9MM 1911 AND HAVEN'T LOOKED BACK. JP

Re: What's your favorite non-1911 semi auto CF pistol?
@Zanemoseley, what's the difference between Shadow 2 and Accushadow 2? Is it just a barrel bushing?
I shot Shadow 2 this weekend and was impressed with how stable the gun feels, almost no recoil and very easy to return back to the target. I shot some good timed and rapid targets, but wasn't very impressed with the trigger, it felt light enough but somewhat gritty, I guess with some stones and polishing it can be improved.
So far my absolute favorite is Pardini HP.
