I believe they’re swaged as they are a HBWC.

Re: Anyone tried thes in their 32 S&W pistols?
I'm using Bear Creek bullets now. Bought 3000 pcs a few months ago. Pistol is a Benelli MP95. I have not had a chance to try them at 50 yards, but at 25 yards and 50 feet I am pleased. They are without a doubt a step up from the Speer 4600. One thing I did notice with the BC bullets, you should not resize the brass, decap the brass with a universal decap die, and call it good. Flair the case mouth to .315-.316 and insert the bullet half way into the case with finger pressure, then finish seat and crimp in one step. I tried seating without a crimp then crimp with a Lee "Factory Crimp Die". That must swag the bullet below .314 while ironing out the OD of the brass, and accuracy suffers. At 25 yards and 50 feet I noticed the Bear Creek bullets where tipping bad by the smudge on the target paper. Using the universal decap die, no resizing of the brass OD, that tipping stopped. No more smearing of the hole in the target. I just might get brave enough and try them at 50 yards to see what happens.
In training the past couple of sessions, I shot low to mid 90's at 25 yards with the BC bullets and non resized brass. That is outstanding for me. So if the bullets will shoot 85's at the long line, and 90-95 at the short line in my hand, I would venture to guess a great shooter could do great things with them.

I should add..... Not only am I not resizing the OD of the brass, I trim the cases to .910 (Spec is .920) then seat at an overall length of .920. This leaves .010 of the wadcutter bullet exposed, giving me something to crimp to. Crimp is light, about .002 less then case size. For whatever reason, it feeds better in my Benelli. Once I got the extractor figured out on this Benelli, and loading the bullet proud of the case mouth, I have shot 200 rounds now without a failure of any kind. Prior to this, I was lucky to get 50 rounds without a failure.

Ashley, if you are interested I’d be happy to loan you my swager/die for ‘bumping’ the spear bullets to approximate the H &N Bullets. They are quite accurate

Greg, thanks for the offer but I don’t shoot a 32. I was just posting this to make others aware that there might be another option to the Speer plinkers.gregbenner wrote:Ashley, if you are interested I’d be happy to loan you my swager/die for ‘bumping’ the spear bullets to approximate the H &N Bullets.
