Martindale gauges, base bulge & rim check
I have a small quantity available. They are used to prevent feeding jams from oversized rims and detect accumulated bulge in the base, an unresizable region of the case.
They are also described in Tony Brongs bullseye blog.
They are $9 shipped.
PM me with inquiries
Thanks!

The best money you will ever spend on a reloading accessory for 45acp.
Use of this little device eliminates a lot of alibis that kill good scores.

I do! But you know what? 9mm brass is so common, even l don't have to pick it up. Seriously, I use it one or twice and scrap it.
I will look for the gauge design, but I know l don't have any available right now. I have a 32s&w design & prototype as well.
Maybe I should?

I've had one for years. Precision-made and only $9.00.

First sets went out just before Christmas so you should have yours by now.
A new batch is ready, saving one for mike myers. PM if interested.
Thanks all

got mine a week ago. honestly don't know why I bought it because a year ago I took your advice about buying a .454 Casull sizing die. I believe your quote was "fixes problems you didn't know you had." It does. no more hour glass cases. no squeezing flat base bullets. I guess I just wanted to prove a non 45acp sizing die worked?

Is there great concern if the rim is real flattened and spread? I know real bad may not feed well. More asking about any solution. With a little shove some rims pass through the BM gage trimming the fat edge. If it needs a lot of force and the brass is otherwise good, keep it or toss it? I have found fat rims after only a few loadings.
I also used one time the Lee factory thing as a pass through. Some fat rims broke the carbide ring. What do you do with your really fat rims?

Re: Martindale gauges, base bulge & rim check
Ahhh rims, it all depends on your gun, specifically the breachface opening. Maybe oversize rims are fine, in your gun. But maybe not. Doesn't mean they are bad. This just helps identify them so you can test them separately. They do pound out (get bigger) with use. Not a total yes no answer, just a diagnostic tool if that is your feeding issue.
