It has been so cold here, even indoors at the range.Turn on the fan and all the heat is sucked out. If I can get to the range a little early I'll shoot a mag or 2 to warm up the gun and me. I get better scores that way. I put my mags in my left pocket. In my right pocket I keep a hand warmer. Yiogo

Never seen any difference in accuracy from the gun, but if your oil is too thick it can slow function and even cause failure to function, ammo is a different story, many powders are temp sensitive and can cause issues in function and slightly in accuracy.

Some times with the 22 I'll get a failure to extract for the first round or two.

But never with a centerfire.

This may be a result of useing Bullseye powder.

I have always been told a cold barrel will shoot less accurately than a heated barrel. That's what warm up shots are for.

That said, I shoot cold guns all the time and my lack of practice is more noticeable than the guns.
