hi guys
looking for a 50 yd load with a 124 FP. and n320 for my 9mm/1911 @ 1.100 in the 1075 fps.- 1125 range

4.3 GR OF VV320 WILL MEET YOU VELOCITY
I PREFER 4.8GR VV330 FOR THE 124GR XTP.
IF YOUR LOOKING AT THE HORNADY 124GR FLAT POINT OR TRUNCATED CONE BULLET FOR 50YDS, I WOULD THINK AGAIN. THE XTP's ARE BEST AT 50YDS, 2ND ARE THE HAP. THE 124FMJ DOES NOT SHOOT WELL AT 50YDS AT ALL. JP

thanks JP! i'll have to try some 124 xtp on a 50 yd. test . been using
rmr 124 FP for a while from 25-50 yd. with ok accuracy. 2-3in groups
closer to 3in. @ 50yd. but that n-320 has been a bugger for me, trying
to find a good load. I did some test with w231 115 xtp and found a sweet
spot for my gun . i have 2lb n-320 so I want to use it up.

only problem now that I can see my OAL with hap 125 is 1.055
to chamber in my gun. so @ 4.3 n-320 bullet is on or real close
to being compress load going to load 1 and see what case and
primer look like
