Recently upgraded the MKlV with a Volquartsen Accurizing Kit and was amazed at the results. Previously, not a big fan of the Ruger pistols. Additional $140.00 investment made this one Bullseye competitive.RUGER MKIV POTENTIAL Ruger_14

Yep.  That Volquartsen kit made all the difference on my MK IV .22/45.

I hated the trigger in my MKIII 22/45 until I put in a Volquartsen trigger. made all the difference.

My Mark III shoots very well but I was never able to make the trigger the way I wanted. The problem is the linkage between the trigger and the sear, it keeps rubbing against the wall of the grip frame, no matter how meticulously I polish it, I still feel a little creep.

Javaduke are you using the Volquartsen machined disconnector? It seems to have a teflon-like finish on it
