Sliding trigger vs pivoting trigger....
So I'm finding it more challenging to shoot my new Marvel 1911 22lr conversion than my Ruger Mark 2 with Volquartsen parts.
Then it dawned on me, the sliding 1911 trigger I have set for 2lb 6oz where as the Ruger pivoting trigger with volquartsen parts is about 2lbs at the middle of the trigger, but I was shooting with my finger on the bottom of the trigger. I put the scale on the bottom of the trigger and it broke at 1lb 2oz...... No wonder I find the Ruger easier to trigger...
I suppose there is nothing in the rules to really level the playing field is there.

Most triggers are weighed in the center of the trigger curve for official weight..
