Anyone out there had cancer? Help

I just got over nasopharyngeal cancer 2 years ago. Very rare in the US.  Treatments were horrible. one radiation treatments which were done every day for 34 days and 5 chemo treatments.  I lost 65 pounds in 4 months because I was on a feeding tube. I  am 68 and suffered big time but the VA doctors killed that cancer. I just had my yearly pet scan and now I have lung and liver cancer according to the results.  2 centimeter cancer spots on my right lung and 1 centimeter cancer spot on my liver.  I smoked most of my life. I worked with Asbestos in the service and for a union job for 7 years.  I was also a union painter at one time. Maybe some causes of this cancer. Anyone out there had these cancers? What should I expect. Worried again.

Jerry Keefer, a gunsmith on this forum had lung cancer.  Depending on stages and whether or not it is metastatic will determine your treatment.  Lung and liver cancers are not easy ones.  Good luck.

My suggestion would be evaluation at the Cleveland Clinic. In '02 they re-sectioned my colon for cancer. They sent me to a  local oncology clinic & Doc. I have been cancer free since. I was also treated there, successfully, for serious infections over the yrs. 

We moved to FL in '04 so no longer have contact information but a referral by your primary should get you to the right place.

As surely has been your experience people in Cancer Treatment stress, attitude and determination.

Sorry to hear this. You didn't say where you live. Roswell near Buffalo NY has a good record. Your doctors are the ones to consult.
