Which 1911? 9mm Down to 3 choices
First topic message reminder :
Sig P210 Target , CZ 75 Tactical Sport or STI Staccato -R. All 9mm 5 inch steel pistols. I am not shooting competition . I just like high quality pistols with great triggers and adjustable sights. Pros and Cons? Give me some reasons for your pick. A gunsmith views would help. Thanks a bunch.

You like the Ruger. You also like buying a new toy every month. If you buy the right pistol you can stave off those cravings for quite a few months. Check out this Ruger. It has a lot more potential then you see at first glance. Shoot 10mm till your bored. Buy a 40s&w barrel and 2 mags. Shoot until bored. Buy a .357 Sig barrel and shoot until bored (don't need new mags) Bored? Buy a 38 Super barrel and some mags. Finally buy a 9mm barrel and shoot up all your 9mm ammo. Of course you can change that order any way you want. But, this is important. You can only do that with a 40s&w or 10mm slide. Starting with a 9mm slide limits you to 9 and 38Super without machining.

Bravo Len!
This should put the end to the two endless treads. I think, it is boredom of the shelter in place and some sort of entertainment, to dig into this treads, but that is just IMHO. The most informative part of both is that I want JE 9mm Long Slide! I think, I'm well set on 9mm target guns (and 9mm guns for any other application as well). So I stand behind my original suggestion to OP, - get one of each, try it, then get Ruger as suggested by Len, try it, and then move onto something else, if none of the offered options is acceptable.
In the meantime, I'm clicking on "stop watching this topic". Sorry for the bluntness!

I really love my CZ 75 Tactical Sport 9mm. Dependable, fantastic trigger, easy takedown to clean. Get one - you won't be sorry. al
