Internet National Match Course League Week #15 - Covid 19 limited re-opening
Well, allot of us are under lockdown orders forced to be at home. You guys that haven't been locked down yet, keep shooting and posting, I'll keep up the data.
For those that are reduced to pellet guns, if you have sustained fire capability continue to post here as I have been doing.
There is a similar 10M air pistol group on the other web site that does a full ISSF 600 monthly.
We are also continuing here adding an ISSF 300pt slowfire match on B40 targets.
This website is all about Bullseye shooting so lets have a NRA Precision Pistol 300pt National Match Course.
Follow the NRA Precision Pistol Rules.
Shoot at any official distances with official targets or scale targets to make it basement friendly for pellet guns.
Week #15 is now open. Shoot and post your score and information here on or before 5/31/2020. At that time week #15 will close and week #16 will be open.
Everyone is welcome to join in. No membership or enrollment needed. Simply post your information.
Post the following information
Name or forum name:
Date:
Distance: 50/25yard, 25yard, 50 foot, 25 foot.....
Indoor/Outdoor:
Pistol:
Caliber:
Sights:
Shooting aids: (we're here because we like competition, if we need to deviate from the rules to continue to enjoy, please do so. I would rather have someone with a shake shoot two handed and enjoy, than sit out. We'll all be there sooner or later.)
Post a picture of the targets if you can. It's fun to see.
Score Slow Fire:
Score Timed Fire:
Score Rapid Fire:
I'll summarize the results and post them weekly.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Looking forward to shooting with everyone.

Re: Internet National Match Course League Week #15 - Covid 19 limited re-opening
OK, so last week JKR laid down a challenge for shooting a 45 NMC. I tried my best with that one. Now I've got a response!!!
This week has started quite nicely. I recently got a new gun. A Pardini SP22 6" barrel which I intend to use for iron sight competition. I have to say that the fully adjustable and ergonomically perfect Pardini sights are a revelation. When I got my other Pardini's I removed front/back sights immediately and mounted my red dots, never shot those iron sights before.
Last year I shot my MG2 with their OEM iron sights - did well at a couple of matches. Their sights are very good, but I never quite got the grip right.
I'm waiting for a new Rink grip for this Pardini (been in Frankfurt Customs House for 5 weeks - COVID!) so I switched the grip from my HP32. This Pardini is just at another level for me. Amazing! Hope that I don't have to eat my words later.
These sights are very close to cheating! My first serious NMC. And, based on the other guns I shot before I got to this today, I did not feel that I was "on my game" today.
If this continues, maybe I should just shoot all of my 22 matches over iron sights!
50' NRA targets shot at 45'
Sunny, warm, breezy weather
SP22 6"

SF - 95
TF - 98
RF - 98
NMC - 291 - 9X

Yes, the sights on the new Pardini’s are awesome. Made especially so by being able to fine tune the rear notch for individual eyesight and light conditions.
I love shooting with irons. I shoot a good deal of ten and fifty meter pistol. I started shooting this program with irons but changed to dots as the trees leafed out. My outdoor range is in the woods and gets quite dark during the warm months.
Never the less, irons it is.I love the challenge. Radjag, are you shooting CMP rules or NRA rules? 291 is pretty tough with irons!

JKR. Trigger is normal 2lb. Rink grip currently has a (non-ISSF) upswept palm shelf. I use the Bullseye Timer app on my phone and got the TF/RF strings off within 20 / 10 seconds. NRA rules re lifting.
Good point. Must remember to try CMP ready and no lift rules next time.

Hey Jim,
Yes I did. I see you wintered good as well.
You have done some changes as well and turning in some good scores.
I recently went the Aimpoints due to Ultradot prices going up and they not lasting as long as I would like. I started shooting a nelson that I don't shoot as good as my Walther but definitely helps my 45 not suck as much. Shot an 1800 yesterday. NMC were kind of the best slow fires I had. 853 with Nelson and 845 with the 45.

Re: Internet National Match Course League Week #15 - Covid 19 limited re-opening
Thanks Garth. Yeah, I can be a real hero shooting on my nice little range at home. You’ve seen me at matches though!
Still struggling with the 45. I’m trying to wean myself from the 32.
I’m liking the Walther. Very forgiving to shoot.

Nice shootin’ Jim. If you can put a nine in front of it with the air pistol, you’re in the game!

All, I updated the spreadsheet and attached in the first post.

JimTMich,
Here is a picture of it. It is a Caspian 6" unique slide(no front radius), Caspian lower, Kart Barrel, RRA rail on the slide. Its finished in hard chrome. I like a little more weight and the softer recoil of the 6". I also have an Aristocrat iron sight rib I can put on it that makes it the most friendly iron sight 45 around.
