A Shooter in Need Empty A Shooter in Need

Post by mspingeld Tue Jun 09, 2020 4:12 pm

For the past several years, I've shot league with a sweet young guy named Mitch Archer. Mitch just lost both of his hands and both legs beneath the knees due to sepsis and his sister is trying to raise money for his medical care and prostheses with a Go-Fund-Me campaign.

Please help if you can. More details about his condition in the link below.

I've seen quite a few donations from shooters! If you can help, please do! Any amount would be appreciated.

For those who are not in favor of the Platform Fee of that donation system, please include exact name and address for addressing and mailing checks directly.

I didn't see any fee on the GoFundMe site.  In fact, it explicitly said there wasn't any fee charged, and instead asked for tips to support the website.

@inthebeech

I just checked. GoFundMe doesn't charge platform fees but they do deduct the credit card fees, about 3.2%.

I will ask if there's a mailing address for those who might prefer to donate that way.

+1,000 for donating to support the expenses for Mitch. He is indeed a wonderful guy and supportive fellow shooter.

Any help this fantastic community can provide is so greatly appreciated!

Donation made. I hope that he recovers and that his family and support system are comfort in the years ahead.
