I am wondering much how interest there is for a new pistol range in the central Missouri (Jefferson City or Columbia) area?  I know we currently have Bullseye in 2 locations within the state.  One is Pioneer Gun Club (Odessa MO area) and Arnold Rifle and Pistol Club (Arnold MO area south of St Louis).  At this point I am just trying to get an idea of how many shooters who are on this forum might support the effort to develop a new range.

We used to shoot bullseye at Green Valley in Columbia. It was at the old range on Wyatt Lane. Kent Finlay was match director. I think he retired from running the matches and no one else stepped up.  I won the last match there in the fall of 2012, or maybe it was 13. If someone revived their bullseye program, I'd consider going again.

Yep you are correct!  Kent and I get together now and then to practice and share rides to matches.

That would depend on the type of matches that were being held. For a 2700 I would drive 2 hours and I expect to be locating to the St Louis area in a couple of years. Primary interest from there would be at Arnold and Highland IL, but the more the merrier.
