32 s&w long wadcutter diameter

I recently acquired a walther gsp in 32 swl. What size bullet SHOULD I use? I realize it may not be the right one for my gun, but I'd like to have a starting place.

All of the factory Walther GSP-C barrels I have gauged measure 0.3135"-0.3150".

The use of a 0.314" bullet would be a good starting point.

You should actually measure your barrel to be sure.

Thanks Dave, as the sizing dies are cheap, ill get a .314 and a 315.

Travis has a Walther 32. He’d be a good source for load and bullet info. I have a Benelli. I’ve been casting with an Accurate mold for an 88 gr wadcutter. Drops at .317 with range scrap. I size it to .315. Great shooting bullet (X ring) at 25. I haven’t had good results at 50 since H&N quit importing their great HBWC.

Yup, he was with me when I bought it (he made me do it! really, he did) he just casts and shoots with tumble lube...

I know. He’s good at that. He let me shoot a match at Oak Dale with his 22. After that, I just had to have a Walther!
