Hi, my left thumb is screaming for help. Any recommendations for a 22 mag loader to be used primarily on Marvel steel mags , also High Standard Victor mags?

Get some Nelson mags and their little aluminum loading tool. Also Jagemann plastic mags have built in loading tabs to lower the follower. Avoid the new Marvel FCW mags, they have no loading tabs, I even got their 3d printed loader and its still more painful to load than it shold be.
